Nice, little restaurant on the water. Good for families. Outside dining available, where you can watch the boats coming and going. The menu is on the smaller side with options, but the food was good. I enjoyed the scallops; they were huge and most importantly, fresh! The sweet potato fries were so good they didn't need ketchup or anything. The fried shrimp were a little greasy but also good. Overall a decent spot for fresh seafood.

Cute little place, the signature salad was sooooo good! The fish dip from their appetizers is good too, I would recommend that was well.

My coconut french toast was delish and the view is nice and peaceful. The service was quick and our waitress was very nice and attentive.

Wow! What a nice little hidden gem on the waterway...we ordered the parmesan garlic chicken wings to start and when they came to the table they looked smelled and tasted even better than we anticipated... ( dont miss out on these) For dinner we had burgers with swiss cheese, bacon and mushrooms... What a delicious beefy burger...onion rings were spot on too...for our finale' we had the key lime dessert... Love to end my meal with a twang! Overall the atmosphere is casual and relaxing (nice breeze & bring your dog) Wait and staff is friendly and attentive, food has nice presentation and my tastebuds were totally satisfied! Its a NO smoking restaurant! Love that!

There's nothing "nauti" about this hidden gem in Lighthouse Point, except for maybe the deliciousness of the food. My girlfriend and I stumbled across this dockside restaurant on an outing through Lighthouse point this past Sunday evening, and boy are we glad we did. We chose to sit at a small high top table located on the dockside of the restaurant overlooking the Marina, which is the perfect spot to listen to live music and watch the sunset. We were greeted promptly by our server and were told about the specials (they sounded delicious despite us not ordering them) I ended up getting Saltwater Brewery IPA on tap which is a local beer and it was excellent! For the appetizer we did have one of their specials for the evening which was their mussels, these were excellent and not overly oily or salty like at some places and the mussels were perfectly cooked and tender. Delicious! For entree I got their lobster roll, this is a cold lobster roll with a GENEROUS serving of lobster meat (mostly tender claw meat) and served with crisp French fries. I must say, this is one of the best lobster rolls I've had in Florida...I could eat 10 of them lol. My girlfriend ordered the mahi tacos which came with a black bean and corn salsa and beans and rice as a side. They were excellent as well! The service was on point. Friendly, never awkward or intrusive, they refilled waters without hesitation, and the timing of the meal was perfect. For such a casual environment the service was really top notch and reminded me of the service I've received at much fancier well known restaurants. They get an A+ for that! I asked to speak with the manager afterward to tell him how great the place was and he came right out, he was incredibly friendly and told us of the history of the restaurant as well as some unique specials they do and the musical acts they host Friday-Sunday. He also told us that they do an amazing Sunday brunch that I'll need to come back for. I was not expecting such amazing food and amazing service from this place but they exceeded my expectations in every way. I'll be back Nauti-Dawg.....I'll be back! ;)

Great place to bring your doggy Food can be much better It's a bit pricey for the quality of food that's serve Beer and wine only Service was mediocre

Food: 1.5 Stars Coolness: 4 Stars This is an interesting place because it's in a marina and it's off the beaten path, but the food is awful. Even the burgers are meh. I've had some things here that were so bad they almost made me laugh. Another thing is that the marina is low-end, so you'll see people cleaning fish on the dock. It's not like there are a lot of yachts like you see at Pelican Landing.

Visited on a weekday for lunch with a couple of friends. First I love the secluded area behind a neighborhood, it's a hidden gem in lighthouse point. Great views and nice to walk around afterwards too. We had the conch fritters to start. If you have a party of 4 get 2 orders though because there's only 6 and they are small. We got the fish tacos which were good but kind of small, more fish please! My burger was great though! A little pricy I think for their offerings but I guess that's lighthouse point. Overall nice lunch, great views, ok service, some staff seem friendlier than others. I'd be back again if in the area.

Atmosphere. A+. Great view and a nice little place. We had a large school of amberjack swimming just off the sock while we ate Food. B. maybe a c. Not great food for the price. I had the kale salad and it was too acidic. My wife had the mahi tacos and they were ok but tiny pieces of fish Service. A. No problem with an attentive waitress. Good service Dog friendly. Lots of things on the menu for pups to eat and they are very open to having you dog outside

This restaurant is located in a quaint spot that you would never expect, but the view is gorgeous! Located on/in a small Marina, the view is beautiful if you sit outside. The food was pretty decent, not bad but not spectacular either. I had the lobster roll, my boyfriend had the Tuna sandwich. He liked his, but I wouldn't order the lobster roll again. Our waitress was great, super friendly and gave us good recommendations. I would definitely go back, but I would order something different!

Great food and a great environment. Linda was our server and she was funny and attentive. I ordered an Angry Orchard and the Po Boy. The Po Boy had banana peppers and that made the whole sandwich! On the water in a secluded area, this place is perfect for a casual dinner. Can't wait to go back for breakfast! It must be beautiful during the day to watch the boats come in and out of the marina.

Perfect perfect perfect location. I got a huge pat on the back from my husband for finding this place. I love boats, champagne and brunch. At this place you have all three. Great atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon. Pomegranate champagne served in stemless champagne glasses was delish! The menu is pretty basic breakfast menu but the custom omelet I ordered was bigger than most omelets. Also, I breakfast joint that has orange marmalade at the table always gets an extra point from me. Love orange marmalade! Prices were not expensive at all. You usually have to pay for the location in the meal costs but these prices are diner prices...big A+ for me! We will try this place for dinner next time. This

Went to celebrate our doggies birthday. It was our first time here and it was easy to find. The outdoor seating has a great view of the marina . We had Linda as our waitress and she was funny and attentive to our dogs. She even gave them treats and extra attention. Our dogs had hamburger and chicken and just watching them eat it under 1 min made me think they loved it. I recommend this place to other dog lovers who want to bring their fur baby to dinner with them. The manager also came by to see how we were doing. He was nice. At our table we had the nauti dawgs (hotdogs )and the tuna wontons both were delicious. Come check this place out.

First input the address in your GPS. If you've never been there you may not find it with out a GPS. This is a hidden gem. Great food Great friendly staff Sits at a marina Live music that's not intrusive My tuna burger was perfectly wife had perfect crab cakes The others in my party had a great looking burger with onion rings, her husband had a fish sandwich that he loved This was our second time there and we will be back. What r u waiting for? Set your GPS and get ready for a treat.

The ambiance is really great here. Very relaxing and right at the marina. It would be fantastic to just sit, have a few drinks and enjoy. But they only have beer and wine, which is a bit of an issue for me. The service was also very good. And if you have a dog, you can bring him. But the food was really not that great. Other than the burger or hot dog, the entrées are pricey. $30ish. To me, that's a lot. The burger was one of the worst I've had. And, although the hot dog was good, like the burger, the bun was terrible. The appetizer was good. Delicious crab cakes. Honestly? Will probably not return. There are so many other great places in Fort Lauderdale that I would go elsewhere. But glad I tried it.

If you're a dog lover then this is the place to go!! It's right on the water and there seems to always be some cool fish or even dolphin sightings off the dock. You can pull your boat right up and dine there as well. Great menu and their food is amazing. Get the lobster roll! Every table around us got the garlic parm wings and they smelled amazing. I'll be back soon for those. They also have menus for the dogs! Hot dogs/chicken etc.. That they cut into pieces and put in a dog bowl.

This place was amazing! Visiting from AZ and took my parents here...the food was delicious!! Doesn't matter what you get...if you get a side salad better not get a side with your meal because the SIDE salad is HUGE! Lol all in all, great prices, great scenery...it's definitely a hidden gem! :)

Love this place because of it's serenity, food is ok and over priced. This place caters to retired people in the area. It's a great escape for lunch on a slow day. Have been here about 10 times now. The service is marginal, probably because this place hires younger staff. Not great for groups though, the food and the service become super slow.

The view - is perfection. We went for brunch and it was great - I had eggs bene (I feel like it's my duty to order whenever it's on the menu, lol). They were good. The potatoes were crazy good. Next time I want to try lunch!

It's time for my 200th review and I always like the milestones to be special....and this is a special place! We met some friends here, just for fun. Neither of us had been to Lighthouse Point before, so it was a nice opportunity to explore a new area. This little restaurant is hidden away at the marina. It's a bit convoluted getting there, but well worth it. The view of the harbor was lovely and made for a very warm feeling gathering. The first thing out was the appetizer du jour, in this case a bowl of mussels in a creamy jalapeño cheese sauce. I have never been a fan of mussels or jalapenos and to put them in a blue cheese sauce sounded, well....weird. But, being an adventurous soul, I tentatively spooned one out and took a slice of delicious bread. OH MY! How wrong first impressions can be!! I could have eaten the entire bowl and gone for a couple of more. It was unbelievable good. The slices of peppers were mild and added a light crunch to the perfectly cooked mussels and creamy sauce. The layers of flavor were magnificent! Moving on, the next one was a goat cheese and garlic app. I don't like goat cheese. Not in the same way that I'm not a fan of mussels, I really DON'T like goat cheese. But I like to give everything a shot, so I took one of the roasted garlic cloves. It tasted like goat cheese. But the people who do like the cheese said it was a very good dish. Then came some edemame. "Bland," you say? Not this. Still in the shell and steamed to perfection, it was bathed in a sauce of sesame oil, soy, onions, garlic, red pepper flakes and sprinkled with sesame seed. It was delicious! One more yummy appetizer - the tuna wontons. The lightly smoked tuna with the house sauce and veggie toppings were cool and crunchy. Definitely a must try. Then came time for a difficult choice - the entree. I finally decided on the lobster roll. This is something I love, but almost never get to have. It was the only area of the night that I thought could use some improvement. The lobster tasted like it had been frozen, it didn't have a lot of sweetness and was overall bland. The roll, while good, needed to be toasted and buttered rather than served plain. I wouldn't order it again. Ordinarily, I would probably deduct a star for this but there was an offsetting feature to this place.... So few restaurants here cater to dogs, but this one does. They have a "Yappy Hour" menu that gives your canine companion about half a dozen choices from skirt steak to bacon strips. It's all grilled, without seasoning, cut into bite size chunks and served table-side in a dawg bowl. This is definitely a winning feature that easily earns that 5th star. So, if you're looking for a great night out, don't hesitate to give this a try. But I'd call ahead to make sure they have the mussel appetizer. :)

Pancakes are amazing. As is the eggs Benedict! but the relaxed atmosphere and view make this place stellar!

This a beautiful spot and being able to take a dog is a plus, but they really aren't customer centric. They have even gone so far as to put on the menu that alterations to the meals are not possible, get over yourselves! Perfectly adequate breakfast, but 4.50 for a chocolate milk is ridiculously greedy.

  • Bill S.

Dynamite location with good drinks and good food and live music. The chicken wings are very good, the burgers are fine, and the hot dogs are pretty good. This place gets really crowed on the weekends so do not be in a rush. This reminds me of a Florida Keys cafe.

Had lunch just the other day with a friend & the boyfriend. Great views. Service was so so. Not much interaction with us even tho it was a slow Monday afternoon. The mussels were excellent. Fish sandwich tested fresh but not much flavor to it. As far as the dessert it was great. Will be back with the dog for some appetizers and Floridian draft !!!

Back again to enjoy the peacefulness of the marina and boats and have a great lunch! I enjoyed the sangria a lot..it had pineapple and apples and oranges in it..delish! My dad had the IBC Cream Soda..glass bottle..very clean tasting! I had the crab caked which were outstanding! Lumps of fresh crabmeat moistly prepared with some red peppers and just the right seasoning! My dad had the buffalo shrimp and boy were the good and spicy! fantastic! Always a good meal!

Come on seriously? 4 stars for this place? Ok it's a cute place but my God the food really sucks. We had the grilled Mahi which was offered with risotto. The Mahi was tasteless and didn't taste fresh to me. Flavorless. Now the risotto was not a risotto. Not sure if the cook made a mistake and served both dishes with some sort of fake polenta but this was NOT risotto no matter which risotto recipe you can Google. The rest of the menu was uninteresting. If you just want to go for a glass of wine and sit right by the water then maybe yes, but not for dinner. The server was overwhelmed but she tried hard to take care of us and that's why I'm giving this place a 2nd star. I hope they fix their kitchen issues because there is potential here.

This is a hidden gem. We live in Lighthouse Point and had not found this restaurant since moving here a few months ago. It's a perfect place located in the marina area with plenty of space and great views. It's casual with dining inside and out depending on your preference. Service was great and food was fresh and fairly priced. Definitely coming back to this one on a regular basis. Enjoy.....

Great place to relax after work. Nice waterfront view with good selection of wines. Tuna tartar is excellent as well as the goat cheese appetizer. Scallop dishes are always good and fish are fresh. Added benefit of being pet friendly so bring your dog to dine with you...

Excellent hidden gem. The Chocolate chip pancakes are excellent and have a ton of chocolate chips inside them. Service is good. Always fun to watch the boats coming in and out of the marina. If you have time, walk to the end of the dock and feed the Tarpon/Jacks/Pelicans that are there.

Great location directly on the water . . . . a place you need to dine at when in the area. Service could be a litter faster, especially at the bar, but all things considered it not a big deal. I would go back!

This was a great little place hidden away in a marina, only drawback is how far it is from Orlando. I'm a sucker for a meal with a view, especially when you're sitting on the water enjoying my favorite meal - breakfast! I had your typical breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, corned beef hash, toast and potatoes. Everything came out as I wanted it, but I critique every restaurant based on how they cook their breakfast, especially bacon. And thankfully this bacon arrived just as I like it. It was cooked near perfect; not over cooked, but not floppy. And it wasn't that cheap thin bacon you see at 'all you can eat buffets', which is very important for someone like myself. Granted, it wasn't the greatest bacon in the world, but I was very happy with it. The corned beef hash was delicious! I've only had it a few other times, but this might be the best I've had. The eggs were typical eggs, though the toast had a little too much butter than what I like. The inside is a small place, with very little seating, so if you come during a busy time, you may need to wait, but there appeared to be a lot of seating outside and near the back of the building. I liked the place and when visiting the area, I will be coming back!

Went by boat. For lunch . There's two slips on North side of gas dock . Sat inside very busy, but service was spot on. Ordered the Mahi fish tacos $14.00 , but I had a lot of the stuff on side ( picky eater ) but they were real good together . It came with white rice + beans. View is great music on some notes . Full bar . Bon Appetite.

I give this a 3.5 out of 5. Food quality could slightly improve and some of the items are priced a little too high. However I love the vacation feel even though I live in lighthouse point and has a nice view of the water and marina. Service is hit or miss. Super dog friendly which is great!

  • Pat D.

The place is a hidden gem, worth the trip - even with our GPS we still got a little lost. However You can't beat the ocean view, and the food is reasonably priced and great tasting. There is seating inside (booths and tables) and 2-seated tables on the outside deck along the wall. The place inside is not large but who cares it was worth the trip. One thing to note the bathrooms are not inside the restruant they are ouside in the pink building and that is the only drawback in this review. I had the Dry Scallops pan seared with Onion Rings and my friend had Shrimp with Capillini Pasta that she just loved. All and all, you must try this place for Breakfast, Lunch or dinner.

I have been to the Nauti-Dawg about 4 times this winter and it never fails to deliver. We travel over from Pompano Beach and although the road to it could be tricky, it is well signed to the marina. It is very easy for my wife to order as she absolutely loves the lobster roll. She says its the best she's had. I have tried various items. The Signature Salad is great especially if you get it with either the chicken or the Mahi. Huge portions. I also loved the Shrimp capellini. Had a delicious scampi sauce on it. My friend enjoyed Galley Burger as well. The best part though it's dining outside on the docks and enjoy the scenery. We dined at sundown on Friday and the sunset was gorgeous! The restaurant is puppy friendly and we have enjoyed seeing all the pooches dining with their owners. They even have their own menu. Try the Nauti-Dawg. Odds are we'll be dining right next to you.

Normally a good restaurant, but not tonight. 2nd string manager spent entire evening chatting with (and distracting) the cooks. I watched as MR burger transmogrified into charcoal. Then, no waitstaff to deliver it from the counter. Had to send it back, and this time it came back (predictably) raw. Of course, timing was off...I ate my side while waiting for my re-cooked burger...so meal turned out to be totally unsatisfactory. And really, do the waitresses have to read the specials even when there are only two?

  • Scott B.

Overall 3.5 stars. "Great place" seems to be the preferred way to start this review. Quite frankly, it is. On the water, in the harbor, tons of covered and uncovered outdoor seating... We came on a Wednesday night, which happened to be an unheard of Guys Night, with half of specials on beers, apps, and burgers. This was an unexpected but very welcomed surprise. The food, overall, was really only average. My burger was quite bland and had soaked through and made the entire bottom of the bun soggy before it even made it to the table. The same happened with my son's. We had the wings as an appetizer -the hot aren't really hot, at all. My wife ordered the scallops but didn't have much to say about them, which leads me to believe they were along the same lines of my burger (which is to say, nothing special). Will give our server the benefit of the doubt and assumeshe may been a bit stretched thin, as the outdoor seating was full. Waters went dry a few times and she all but disappeared completely after dropping the check off. We ultimately had to flag down another server in order to pay the bill.

Tucked away in the Lighthouse Marina, this place is cute and refreshing. The restaurant is on the water surrounded by the marina boats. The decor is modern and clean, lots of people with their 4 legged friends, the ambiance is relaxing. I split a bottle of Pinot Grigio with my friend as well as the garlic-Parmesan chicken wings and greek salad. The wings were super delicious! Big, meaty and wonderfully tasty. The salad was huge, and equally delicious. There was a musician playing island music to add to the relaxing ambiance. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available, however the only thing this restaurant is missing is an actual bar or a section for bar tables/chairs. I have been several times mostly for breakfast, but I have to say I was very impressed by the quality of the food and look forward to visiting again for dinner.

Great little marina cafe. We popped in yesterday to listen to some music and enjoy the waterfront atmosphere. We opted for the outside seating to enjoy the music and both were perfect. Had a frozen margarita on my palette but quickly learned it's only a beer and wine place. Enjoyed a few beers and wifey had wine. We went a step further and tried the fish dip which was dry and not very flavorful. Looked like a lot of regulars so that tells me their doing something right. We'll be back to listen to Mark and people watch.

We were looking for an inexpensive nice lunch on the water and heard this place was good, so we came by. It wasn't overly busy, we sat on the porch with a beautiful view of the marina. The food and service was fantastic! I highly recommend their cheeseburger as you can tell it is entirely freshly made, cooked and seasoned perfectly and their onion rings are delicious! We also had their wings - they are better than any wing-based restaurant! Overall, I loved it!!

Finally a decent restaurant where you can get some great tasting 5 star seafood and take your dog too!!! Its pleasantly tucked away in the marina with an amazing view! The staff and other patrons adored my dog Daisy and gave her lots of attention. Anytime I have out of town guest I'm definetly showing off this place!!!

Tucked away, a little hard to find but that's part of the fun, right? Sit by the water, watching the boats and enjoying the day... ah ! What more can I say? Food = excellent, Location = excellent, Service = you know what... perfect 5! Check times for breakfast during weekdays as they change throughout the year. Their French Toast is really good, try the coconut ones.

Combine great food and beautiful views and the only places you could be would be is The Nauti-Dawg. I tried the Mahi rueben and black beans &rice. It was awesome. The place is a little hard to find but worth it.

Fun place to go for a step above casual dinner out on the boat! They remodeled a while ago, the service was amazing before, longtime employees and always friendly! We were worried that would change, but it did not. Good for them!

Decent food, but nothing spectacular. My mahi Reuben was tasty, but very soggy. And nothing worth coming back for. The view by the marina is nice, but not as good as the ocean obviously. It's very hard to find-by the marina, and you have to go through a neighborhood first.

No liquor. $5 for a beer?!? You basically pay for the view. The tuna won-ton appetizer was good, but everything else was just ok.

Had a very enjoyable lunch today. Staff was friendly & accommodating. Atmosphere was very nice with views that were off the chain. We had the Mahi Tacos & Bacon Cheddar Burger, both were very good. Great place to bring a date or have a nice meal with a loved one...

  • Sean C.

We really like coming here on Mondays and Fridays. They always have whatever fresh fish is currently available (mahi, yellowtail, swordfish, wahoo). The service is always great and you can also order take out to take to your boat. If you're not in the mood for seafood, I have also had great salads here including the kale salad. The cheeseburger is also a great choice as are the wings. We also like the fact boaters and dogs are welcomed with open arms. They have treats and water for the dogs.

    (5)
  • Linda M.

5 stars for the view, but 3 stars for the food. My mahi with buttery caper sauce was good, but not particularly outstanding. The seared scallops were a bit too salty, which may have explained the ample pasta along with it. What made the evening worthwhile was the view right on the marina. We sat by where the boats were docked, and it was a marvelous view, to eat just about anything.

The good, the bad and the ugly - This fun waterfront venue offers a little bit of each. I live close by and often find myself cruising over on my bicycle for a waterfront experience during the weekends. So here's a little bit of information from my many visits... I haven't found many waterfront restaurants in Florida that can offer both a wonderful ambiance and delicious food. At Nauti-Dawg, the vibe is good and the meals are average at best. However, they're a creative and fun bunch that is constantly planning and throwing specialty events with live music - Their full moon parties for example are a blast. The food is a bit pricey and doesn't always deliver. There are a few key items I would suggest ordering that are better than others. If you're unsure about what to order, the skirt steak entree and the chicken wing appetizers are good go-to items. The service becomes a bit spotty on busy nights - If you're in a rush, stop by during the week or early afternoon during the weekends. By night fall on Friday or Saturday there are long waits for tables, drinks and the food. All in all, worth checking out if you you're in the area, feel like relaxing and want to get here by foot, car, bike or boat.

What a great little place. It's in a marina at the end of a residential neighborhood, and they are by no means a tourist place. We brought our dachshund, Calypso, and we all three had a great inexpensive meal. I had a hot dog, which was big, with a side of black beans and rice. The beans and rice was a little bland, but they don't advertise themselves as a Cuban place and I realize not everyone wants things as spicy as I do, so I can't really fault the restaurant there. Still, some onions or herbs in the beans would have made a difference. The dog was a bit salty, but, hey, it's a hot dog, so I expect that. My boyfriend (El Cap) had a burger, and it arrived cooked just the way he liked it. They offer a side of fresh fruit if you don't want fried things, which I like. Calypso had a hot dog, which arrived in a dog dish and cut up for her. She was in dachshund heaven. Four dollars, which is a lot for a hot dog with nothing else, but I figure they're setting out dog bowls of water, dog waste stations, and dealing with the insurance, so I would prefer to pay that four bucks instead of making the non-dog people pay for them allowing dogs, because that raises the price for everyone. For dessert we had an apple crisp with cinnamon ice cream (me) and chocolate ice cream (El Cap). I can't say enough good things about the crisp, because it was almost perfect. Not too sweet and not too soupy, and not what I expected at a marina restaurant. With a glass of wine each (which, at nine dollars a glass, cost more than our meals), the bill came in under $60. The service was tremendous, the food was tasty, and it all happens in a great setting. Give them a try if you're looking for solid food and friendly staff. Also, I don't know if management reads these, but thank you for having a dog-friendly place. We went out of our way to get to you, and we absolutely would not have done so if you hadn't allowed dogs. Also, you have a great staff, two people in particular who worked May 1 round about sunset: a tall blonde who waited on the couple with the longhair dachshund, and a younger guy with curly dark hair who didn't wait on us but utterly charmed Calypso. We tipped her 20%, but thought you should know how much we appreciate attentive service and people who treat customers well.

Very unexpected treasure this north of the Keys. Relaxing, great view and good food. Hummus and veggies a nice app.

This place was recommended by new times Broward as #1 place to eat on the water. I was let down by the service and other patrons. The energy was strange here. The servers all seemed upset or extremely hungover. The other patrons had the same appearance/energy. The food was ok for the price. Not impressed.

Great place on the water. Relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Great location but also a hidden gem. I love it because its in my own neighborhood. Breakfast lunch and dinner are all great times to eat here.

Delicious hidden gem off the beaten path. Had the steamed garlic clams and the signature salad with shrimp - both great. The clams were a stand out. My husband had the eggs Benedict - he loved it. Good food with a great view. Can't be beat.

Love this little hidden gem. Not the easiest place to find unless you know the area or have an awesome gps. The food is awesome and the outside deck is a true south Florida experience. If you haven't tried this place it's worth the drive to find it you can arrive by car, bike, boat or feet.

What a nice little waterfront find! There is nothing like enjoying fresh off the boat mahi when your literally feet from the boat! I ordered the side of cucumber salad and at first it thought it was too acidic, but I kept finding myself going back for more. I think I got a little addicted and it was a nice pairing with the fish I have to admit. The sangria was refreshing, and one glass is plentiful! And if you get a chance to go when they have polenta with the special--don't hesitate! One of the best!

Locals are in the know and now you are too. I was so happy to finally try this spot! My galpal and I made our way over to this neighborhood cafe by the Lighthouse Point Marina on a Friday night. Wine, wings, a Greek salad, and some great conversation were enjoyed at our dockside table for two. Our server was attentive, the views were relaxing, and the live band jammed island tunes while boaters cruised in and out. Doggies are catered to here and many came out to play on this evening. The water is lit up, and you'll see fish and maybe a shark or two swimming around. The dining room has a tv and the ambiance is casual and modern. They have a breakfast menu that entices, and I will definitely return to this little treasure hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets.

Was in the area and checked Yelp for a good place for late lunch. Nauti Dawg had excellent reviews and they are well deserved. Fantastic waterside dining. Really good, friendly service.

Our first visit to the Nauti-Dawg was without incident and we enjoyed the food and location. However, our visit this evening to the Nauti-Dawg was complete with the worst customer service we have ever encountered, a belligerent manager and our party of 10 walking out of the restaurant before we even had a bite of food!! It was a chilly evening on the deck and we politely asked the manager to reposition the heat lamps between our table and the diners next to us so we could all warm ourselves during our dinners. He not only refused to do this, he was rude, disrespectful and told us that he wouldn't inconvenience another table for the happiness of our party. He publicly berated a woman in my group so that all diners in our area could hear him. Even the wait staff was apologizing for this manager's un-civil and ill-mannered behavior. It's truly unfortunate that this restaurant has hired a low class, rude and ignorant man to represent this establishment who doesn't understand that the restaurant industry depends on happy and satisfied diners. I am disgusted by our experience tonight and caution all possible diners...there are certainly many other establishments in the area that treat their customers with respect -- go there instead!!!

Food was ok but the service was really not great. Our waitress seemed really stressed and angry. She continually ignored my request for water, filled my empty soda glass with water later on in the meal, didn't give us any silverware when our food arrived, took forever getting our check and then sighed loudly when she realized she had to split it 3 ways. It's an ok place in a great location but not good service at all!

Been coming here for breakfast every time we come down to Pompano and it never disappoints. I almost always get the corn beef hash and its some of the best I've ever had. The meat is fresh and high quality, something you don't usually get with hash. The portions are big and the prices are reasonable. Great view of the marina right next to it. And a great Bloody Mary to top it off. The grits and oatmeal are very plain however. Overall, great place.

One of my favorite spots in South Florida. Try the fish dip -- it is out of this world. I have eaten in some of the best restaurants in Europe and the US -- this restaurant is a little gem. I hope it doesn't get any more popular

Great menu selection for all types of appetites. Awesome, friendly and funny staff who are attentive but not intrusive. Certainly will make this a regular spot on my return trips to the area and recommend to my fellow northeast/Floridian regulars!

Very displeased with this restaurant, went there the other day with a few friends for lunch. Our food took a long time to come out, then when we finally received it the food was cold. The waitress gave us an attitude about it. The prices are pretty high and the food is mediocre. The manager was very rude and disrespectful towards us as if out was our fault our food was cold... Then on top of it he began to get very nasty with our waitress which was completely uncalled for. Might I add that when we first walked up he was belittling the hostess and looked as if he had her about to cry.. The drink prices are absolutely outrageous.. 5 for a beer and almost 10 for a glass of wine that they barely fill... We will never return to this place and would not recommend it to anyone. They also need to get rid of that morning manager if they new what was good for they're business

The Nauti-Dawg Marina Cafe is a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner! It is on the water at Lighthouse Point Marina and set-up in a beautiful location. The wait staff and the owners are helpful and friendly and we are always appreciative of that. The staff and owners always welcome our veterans and are always willing to assist us at our events. F.F.O. is a local non-profit whom honors and empowers our nations veterans. The staff and owners of the marina and the marina cafe host our events and we are very thankful for all they offer and provide. THANK YOU!

"fish rebuke"? "salads was bad"? ok, that checkin was rushed...anyhow, the "hair of dawg" saki bloody mary was decent, made by Rachel, who was very sweet and perky but forgot the water chasers I'd asked for and apparently has NO idea that there is a difference between battered and breaded onion rings (at least not when directly asked) anymore than the cook knows the difference between blackened fish and pan-seared fish for the Mahi Reuben. The LG signature salad was a $12 rip-off...four pieces of lettuce...a $12 salad billed as a meal should be heaping, not invisibly minute. Very cute place, but very solidly NOT worth a drive or wait.

Very nice little hideaway. Neat watching the pelicans & seagulls, nice view from the marina. Would have been better if they served liquor, not just beer & wine. Enjoyed the conch fritters, burger & tacos.

On this day the dolphin was fresh and cooked to perfection. The blackened sandwich, served with delicious onion rings, will have me coming back soon. Add the marina-front dining and the dog-friendly atmosphere and I may have found a new favorite place for lunch. Just a touch pricey.

I want to give 3.5 stars. Great atmosphere and will go again for that itself! Really want to try the brunch. The tuna wonton appetizer and lobster bisque was very good. The chicken piccata was my entree and it was just ok. It was pretty basic - not very flavorful and the chicken breast would have benefitted from some tenderizing.

In order to figure out or add up the number of changes of ownership or management of this place I'd need a calculator. The problem with that situation is consistency. With so many and so frequent changes it's difficult to know what to expect here. As of this writing, it's OK food wise as far as things go with sandwiches, burgers and such, but basically being a nice little place located right on the water of the marina to have lunch while enjoying a lovely view of all the boats. As with any marina food, it's somewhat pricey for what you get but not inordinately.

So disappointed!!!!!! Went there by boat on Mother's Day and we were told 1 hr to 1 hr 10 min for an outside table which was fine totally get the wait for Mother's Day!!! I went to the bar and ordered a drink hung out for a while with my family and dog. Atmosphere was great spoke with a ton of friendly people with there dogs. But we started seeing people we were taking to getting there after us with there dogs sitting before us (locals from light house point) sit before us!!!! Totally unacceptable!!! IWe are from Fort Lauderdale and and have been here one other time figured enjoy a nice boat ride and breakfast! Should have stayed around our house and went to blue moon, coconuts, sands etc. The manager did admit he was wrong and said we were next which we had been hearing that for a while from the hostess!!! Our two and five year olds were starving! Headed home now I guess we will just make breakfast at home ! Huge disappointment!!!!

From out of town... A new vacation fav. Although it wasnt the best service I've ever had (not terrible) Everything was great! Wife had Mahi tacos and I had the catch of the day (grouper). So much flavor. The Mahi tacos were inexpensive ($12) but the grouper special was $31. Worth it for me! Even my onion rings and cole slaw were amazing. Great spot, beautiful water view, delicious food.

So my husband and I try to get away at least once a week for a lunch. It's our time without children. It's our date time. He mentioned that he had been here making a sales call and we try it out. The food is good and the view is nice. It's a nice way to view the beautiful water while eating. I had the Mahi Reuben and everything was fresh. The fish was very good. My husband at the Mahi tacos and enjoyed them too! The only complaint was on my husband's lunch they probably should have had three taco's. He left and was slightly still hungry. I like that they have other side options besides French fries. I try to watch what I eat and they had cucumbers, or fruit salad which I loved. Keep improving the menu and offer more lunch & dinner specials. We will be back.

I liked this place. I liked the atmosphere and then the food and then the service. So take it at that. It has an indoor and outdoor area. The outdoor area is on the water but sufficiently covered so that when a big storm came by we were adequately covered. There was a guitar player who was good! But due to weather had to stop. Salad was good. hot dog very good. Prices good. Service was not great, we had to wait a long time for ketchup and I could tell my bf was pised because he frIes and sandwich got cold by the tine the ketchup cameo. I would go back though. And they allow cute doggies in the outside area :)

I had brunch here a few weeks ago. They were packed! We waited for about 30 minutes for a table. Once we were seated we waited for about 10 minutes for the server to approach our table and take our drink order. We then waited another 10 minutes for the drinks to arrive. The food was okay, nothing memorable. The best part about his place is the view. Right on the marina, surrounded by beautiful boats and yachts.

Heard about the "Full-Moon Party" at Nauti-Dawg, simply a fun night with live music & a beautiful view. Had the evenings Special of scallops - it was amazing and the areas best-priced bottle of Caymus! Have returned again & again...all the while telling friends they should check it out.

Love this place! I've been here multiple times and never had a bad meal. It's a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of South Florida. It's everything that makes me love South Florida. A very cute Marina where you can feed the Tarpin, smell the salt sea water and listen to the sound of the water against the docks. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are always friendly. I haven't ever had a bad meal. I usually order the fish dip which is never overly fishy in taste. The Lobster Roll is amazing and the amount of meat they give you is like getting a large lobster tail. I highly suggest the lobster Mac and cheese if they have it that day. This adorable restaurant is great if you or your kids are animal lovers as dogs are welcome and given their own water bowls. If you are looking for that hidden gem , you've found it here.

A true gem of a place to have a great meal. The mahi tacos were fantastic as was the black beans and rice that came with it. The apps were all fantastic (conch fritters, wings, and crab cakes), and the desserts (creme brûlée, and brownie) were as well. Staff was attentive, not spectacular, but good. Facility was very clean and the atmosphere great.

Great food! Baked goat cheese is amazing. Salads are huge. Curry brussel sprout soup is delicious! We bring out catch in and they do an amazing job cooking it up... Lemon caper sauce on snapper is unbelievable. Staff is always kind, but sometimes a bit I overwhelmed. It's a nice place to boat to and relax. Dogs are welcome too!

Our friends took us here for dinner last week. It was a full moon and we got a table for six right by the water. We watched the full moon rise and it was a beautiful night. The restaurant celebrates the full moon with live music which was very fun. The wine selection was limited but we still found one we liked. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. My husband and I shared the Caesar salad which was tasty but a little over-dressed. Then we had the 8 ounce grilled mahi. There was a 16 oz offered but the 8 oz was a very good portion. You can pick 2 sides. We had the rice and the vegetables of the day which was a squash medly with red pepper and onion. The food was very good but what made the night was the location. Very fun.

Food is fairly good- much improved from the cafe it used to be. I like the daily specials and the garlic clams. The wine list is actually great for a casual cafe. Don't expect extraordinary service, but it's not that type of place. Being a restaurant owner myself, I'm very sensitive to service standards and they're far from perfect here (don't expect the ladies' orders to be taken first or new forks to be brought out after the salads), but it really doesn't matter when you're sitting by the marina, listening to a guitarist and having a glass of vino. Life's cares seem to float away... I've been here many times and my only negative experience happened last night. Not the end of the world, but it was my friend's birthday dinner and I snuck away from the table and told our server. She said they would bring dessert and sing to him. Well, dinner was cleared and she brought the check...so I convinced everyone to linger for a bit...still nothing. I saw her serving the other tables and she ignored us for 20 minutes. We finally gave up and left. I could never blame a restaurant for one server's error, but it's worth noting. If it's a birthday, tell multiple people :) All in all, go for the location and relaxing/casual atmosphere. The food and service are secondary, but that doesn't detract from it's charm.

Like others I would have to say the service was a little slow, not terrible but could be improved. The food on the other hand was excellent. The lobster ravioli was to die for along with the scallops with risotto. In addition my husband had the skirt steak wrap and it was obviously fresh and the steak cooked just right.

I think those who don't live in Lighthouse point would have NO idea this place ever existed! Went here with a good friend who lives in the area and I fell in love! Nauti dog is right on the Marina and its so beautiful at night! They have an excellent variety of seafood, all of which is fresh catch! :) They have a sweet menu from 3-6pm where you can get salad, a meal, and dessert for 12 bucks! It's a limited menu but everything sounded delicious. The staff here are all so friendly. What's great is they are dog friendly! I brought my puppy and the waitress brought him a doggie bowl and some treats, they even have a menu for dogs! This place is fairly priced, especially for the great quality of seafood they have. I had the blackened mahi mahi, I usually avoid blackened seafood because most go overboard with the salt but they had it just right! Portions are huge and its a great place to go on a date or even with friends! The outside dock/dining area fills up pretty fast at night! For those in the deerfield/pompano area looking for a new place to eat, you MUST try this place! :)

Great place for brunch, breakfast or lunch...dinner is pretty good too. Nice to sit outside, bring the dogs and eat. Live music is nice also. Only have beer and wine on the menu, however, the beer bloody mary and margarita isn't all that bad.

This location has changed hands many times, but I hope Nauti-Dawg is here to stay. The location is amazing: on the water in the marina. I have eaten here a few times and the food has been consistently good. A varied menu and good specials. Friendly staff provide good service. I have heard that it is impossible to get a table for brunch, but my family is seldom up that early unless we have to be.
